A group of young revolutionists wanna ruin the system with violence. They think this is the only chance to reform the old Russian Society. The leader of this group is Pierre.。The story takes us back to 1889, in the wake of primary school teacher Louise Violet who is sent to a village in the French countryside to enforce Republic schooling (which is free, compulsory and secular).
