“安全屋”为警方安排给重要证人秘密居住的地方，警员VICENT调查一起赌波事件，成功偷听录音而破案，因此获得升迁，VICENT与女友莹及好友美、琳、靖庆祝，不料，VICENT不久遇袭，身中五枪，生死未卜. 美与靖调查毒枭雄，借故将其扣留，正要因证据不足放其走时，雄的得力助手辉被抓获，辉之女友怡亦被捕，安排辉、怡住安全屋，以防雄对其不利，雄利用开庭说出一些无关之话，众人不解，却有一个将之记入在心，安全屋屡受袭击，发生激烈枪战，此时，美追查出VICENT遇袭与雄有关，原来VICENT的录音里含有雄不可告人的秘密. 怡邀辉一起逃离安全屋，中途却将枪指向他，恩爱的女友变成仇敌，原因何在？而雄正洋洋得意面对的证据不足，究竟正义能否压倒邪恶？VICENT又能否重新苏醒过来？。善良正直的少年沉香与父亲刘彦昌一同生活在大山里，某日他被坏孩子辱骂是“没有妈妈的孩子”。沉香倍感伤心，于是向父亲追问母亲的下落。刘彦昌思索再三，向儿子讲述了当年的故事。原来，当年刘与仙女三圣公主相恋，结果惹来二郎神杨戬的忌恨，最终将自己的亲妹妹三圣公主压在莲花峰下。 得知一切的沉香决定寻找母亲，路上他遇见朝霞姑姑，进一步得知狠心舅舅杨戬陷害他们父子的始末。可是他年龄如此小，又无任何本领，如何与法术高强、阴险狡诈的杨戬抗衡？在朝霞姑姑的指引下，他拜在霹雳大仙的门下。为了救出困在莲花峰的母亲，沉香展开了艰苦的修行……。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
