本片改编自花泽健吾的同名漫画，讲述了曾经辉煌一时的日本忍者，在战后被GHQ解散组织而消失，不过，他们潜伏在世界的所有机关，现代也暗中活动着，据说人数约为20万人。但基层忍者经常找不到工作，其中之一的云隐九郎（山崎贤人饰）隶属忍者组织“NIN”的末端忍者（下忍），过着与啃老族无异的生活。一天，闲得发慌的他被判了一项重大的“忍务”，那就是调查战后70多年来一直潜入地下的某个组织的动向，其名为——“地下忍者”。忍术、智谋、最新科技等驱使了一切，从未有过的战斗现在开始。。Heavily influenced by the ghostly series THE KINGDOM, the sleepwalker Karen seeks answers to the unresolved questions of the series in order to save the hospital from doom. Sound asleep one night, Karen wanders into the darkness and inexplicably ends up in front of the hospital. The gate to the Kingdom is opening once more…。
