A news reporter provides some backstory as she interviews the cat's owner, an animal handler who do...。丽佳（菅野美穗饰）出生时在母亲百合子（川岛直美饰）眼中是一只蜥蜴的形象，百合子因此十分厌恶丽佳，不久次女麻美（榎本加奈子饰）诞生，百合子便将所有的宠爱都给了麻美，而百般针对丽佳。 百合子生日时丽佳用尽自己的储蓄买了一条丝巾送给妈妈，却遭到责骂，伤心的丽佳投河自尽，恰好被路过的冈崎升（冈田义德饰）救起。丽佳惊恐地发现，自己在镜子中是蜥蜴的形象！从那天起，理佳把内心封闭起来，变得沉默寡言。 自己是个“怪物”的意识无时无刻不影响着丽佳，长大后，面对爱情和未来，丽佳始终无法想信自己能够获得幸福……。
