以当今物质丰富的日本社会中，被人遗忘于一角的，每天无法吃饱饭的儿童们为视角拍摄的电影。小学5年级的勇人，父母经营着一家食堂，他和妹妹每天过着衣食无忧的安稳生活。另一方面，勇人的好朋友贵志家则是完全不管孩子的单亲妈妈家庭。因此勇人的父母经常把贵志带来家里吃晚饭。某天，勇人遇到了和父亲一起住在车里的两姐妹，他便拜托父母为她们做饭。几天后，两姐妹的父亲失踪了。于是勇人和贵志带着两姐妹开始了令人意外的行动......。The first 24 hours as an MFA.
