Attacked and frozen to death, a dead man is revived by a group of doctors with the help of a technology that brings back dead people alive.。来日本学习手工制鞋的韩国青年Leon（崔珉起 饰）仿佛对周遭的一切都不感兴趣，他一门心思专注眼前的事，固守孤独而坦然随性。这一天，他在最喜欢的公园里邂逅了烂醉如泥的韩国女子宋娜（韩英惠 饰）。不知为何，Leon偏偏被这个看起来并不起眼的女性所吸引。与Leon一同工作的 日本女孩小风秋子（青柳文子 饰）憧憬着这个韩国男孩，宋娜的男友纪戊（JR 饰）就读某日语学校，他暗暗喜欢着老师幸田加奈子（木南晴夏 饰）。加奈子有一位正在交往的男友荒川巳喜男（芹泽兴人 饰），荒川坐在轮椅上，行动不便让他充满悲观情绪。以Leon为中心，七位男女各自经历着情感的波动……。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
