《曾根崎心中》（1703）是净琉璃史上第一部现实剧（世话物），也是日本最早的社会故事剧，引起了很大轰动。这第一部净琉璃中的现代情死剧，它所反映的不仅是当时的一种社会悲剧，而且还有新兴町人阶级的道德观和日本的传统文化观念。《曾根崎心中》改编自元禄16年（1703年）旧历四月七日早上，大阪堂岛新地天满屋的游女初（はつ）（21岁）与内本町酱油商平野屋的店员德兵卫（徳兵卫）（25岁）在梅田曾根崎的露天神森林中殉情一事。。被家族当做弃子，被迫出嫁。 却用医术治好了残疾的霸总，但一夜怀孕却被陷害赶出家门。 几年后，两人相遇，霸总却成了甩不开的赖皮糖。。He works at the fairground as “Stump the Guesser”, who can guess anything for a fee. But suddenly his tricks stop working. And then he unwittingly falls in love with his sister whom he believed to be lost. He sets out to scientifically disprove the theory of heredity and marry his beloved as soon as possible. An absurdist firework of a silent film in black and white.。
