中学女生小步（李律 饰）与安琪（姚安琪 饰），曾经是形影不离的一对儿，这两个全校唯二吸烟的女生，她们的关系像烟草一样飘忽沉溺，时常在秘密基地的秋千上互诉幻想，直到某天，两人争吵后不再往来。 小步从自行车上摔下，因此结识了后来的男友——练习拳击的case。他们经常与小步的朋友阿咪（廖千慧 饰）结伴游玩，小步并不知道，在一个枯燥的夏日午后，case曾经对跳舞机上的阿咪一见钟情……小步虽然和安琪不再联系，可是关乎后者的记忆时常使她的情绪深陷其中，从过去到现在，这四个年轻人的命运之结从没有分开过，一直以晦暗的方式缠绕在他们的周围。。A tenuously linked group of nobodies trudge through their woeful existence in dreary Winnipeg.
