故事发生在两千多年前一个名叫石缝村的地方，山上藏着法术高超的山神操蛇神（姚刚 饰），却以降灾降祸要挟当地人送姑娘给他祭祀。自幼习武的愚公（赵恒煊 饰）以护卫身份侍立国王左右，当年心爱的女孩紫玉被献给山神令他悲愤交加。他砸毁祭坛，力战群妖，却不得不在父母的哀求下罢手，还被智叟（杜源 饰）暗进谗言发配到荒野居住。操蛇神衔恨在心，用计搬来王屋和太行两座大山挡在愚公的门前。绝不屈从的愚公固守当地，和老婆（沈丹萍 饰）十数年来含辛茹苦开垦荒地。而操蛇神和智叟各自依旧策划邪恶的阴谋…… 本片根据中国经典民间故事改编。。Framing StoryDr Martin (Robert Powell) arrives at a secluded asylum "for the incurably insane" to be interviewed for a job by the wheelchair-using, authoritarian Dr Lionel Rutherford (Patrick Magee). Rutherford explains that he owes his current incapacitation to an attack by an inmate. Rutherford reveals his unorthodox plan to determine Martin's suitability for the post of head...。
