Filmmaker Dan O’Neil leads a team of field biologists, bioengineers, and animal behaviorists to explore how these formidable creatures managed to achieve such massive prop...。抗战爆发，以向瑞云为首的一批热血女青年陆续加入了新四军战地服务团，有林蕤，盛子钰、陶七妹等。除了这些女兵，还有上海知识分子文曰白、音乐家启明等。共同的救国心和爱国热情使得她们共同加入了新四军这支优秀的队伍。大家在抗战的热潮中不断搞创作、学习文化知识、编排新戏，热火朝天。在姐姐的感召下，向瑞云的两个妹妹向瑞华和向瑞星也投身到新四军的革命队伍中来。队伍从汉口辗转云岭，经历了皖南事变，大批新四军战地服务团的士兵被囚禁在在上饶集中营，向瑞云在集中营坚贞不屈，坚持斗争。严峻的考验让这群女兵不断成长。她们一路走来，经过血与火的洗礼，最终成为光彩照人的女性。。
