20几年前一个北朝鲜女人为了寻找她的丈夫，挺着孕肚只身翻山越岭来到中国鹿乡，被善良的养鹿人救起。有时候命运就是这样神秘莫测，每一次偶然的相遇，很可能都是久别重逢。转业回乡的侦察兵碰巧遇到艺术女孩开画展。几次接触，了解了这个女孩儿的神秘身世并决定帮她寻找亲生父亲。寻亲过程中，意外发现这个女孩儿和自己家有解不开的缘，可是爱情却在这个时候发生了……。Each year, a father films his daughter on her birthday, asking her the same questions.
