This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。村主任为了化解村内的一些矛盾和摆脱落后现象，通过身体力行的行动和不断的宣传、教育来提高本村村民的素质，以此来发展经济，改变全村精神风貌。最终成功引进外资，带领全村走上发展之路......。
