香澄（原田知世 饰）离了婚，独自抚养着正在上高中的儿子，日子过得十分辛苦。香澄在一间洗衣店中工作，这间洗衣店面向的客户，都是有着一定社会地位和声望的上层人士。某日，香澄邂逅了一位名叫小泽勇凛（斋藤工 饰）的男子，此人是一位正当红的话题性设计师。 让香澄没有想到的是，和自己八竿子打不到一起去的勇凛竟然对自己格外感兴趣，因此对这位个性古怪的男人充满了戒心。可随着时间的推移，勇凛单纯善良的一面渐渐显露，香澄在不知不觉中被其吸引。然而，勇凛的生活十分混乱，他和香澄的客户，大型企业社长的夫人白井真帆（山口纱弥加 饰）有着不伦的恋情。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
