本作は、平日は電機メーカーの子会社で働き、週末はバンドのベーシストとして活動する男・和田理生が主人公の物語。彼女いない歴3000日の彼が、妄想の世界で理想の彼女にごはんを振る舞うさまが描かれる。ゲスの極み乙女。のベーシスト・休日課長によるレシピ本「ホメられるとまた作りたくなる！妄想ごはん」を原案としている。。Ollie Dee and Stanley Dum try to borrow money from their employer, the toymaker, to pay off the mortgage on Mother Peep's shoe and keep it and Little Bo Peep from the clutches of the evil Barnaby. When that fails, they trick Barnaby into marrying Stanley Dum instead of Bo Peep. Enraged, Barnaby unleashes the bogeymen from their caverns to destroy Toyland。不同的空间地域，不同的身份和经历，但他们经历的，都是记忆深处，最刻骨铭心的那些事儿。1949年前后，那些被新旧世界改变的，普通人的生活与命运。这些民间和个体的亲历故事，恰恰是那个时代所有人的共同记忆。。
