Restoration carried out by the National Museum of Singapore and the World Cinema Foundation. In association with the Konfiden Foundation and Kineforum Jakarta Arts Council. The film was restored from the original print kept at the Indonesian Cinematheque. Special thanks to the family of Usmar Ismail.。该片通过几个乡村中学生的奋斗故事，讲述了上个世纪九十年代在相对落后的地方，他们在那特定艰苦的环境里各自为着理想不懈努力着。但在成长的路上，或多或少总有那些不顺和无奈的事摆在他们的面前，在他们都还是少年时就得做出人生的选择，有的选择辍学出门打工，有的选择继续学习，无论他们的选择是什么，他们都有一颗纯真的心，带着这颗纯真的心走向了各自的人生。。
