Along the way, however, a gang of terrorists hijack the sub in an attempt to launch a bioweapon attack ...。故事从民国二十六年的北平戏班开始，白云秋随病重的师傅白玉心前来搭班谋生，受尽人情冷暖，幸而有善良的柳凤英照顾帮助，两人遂产生深刻的友情。白玉心和凤英的琴师唐师傅（天鹏）过去有一段未完成的情感，死前终于得到他的原谅，并视白云秋为徒弟照顾收容。凤英的师姐花艳霞一向爱慕唐师傅，但永远无法取代白玉心在唐师傅心中的地位，感情受挫的她为了救戏班众人生计，无所谓的便嫁了韩会长，却也造成唐师傅的更不谅解。性格尖锐圆滑的花艳霞和强硬固执的唐师傅人生观完全抵触，事事冲突，然而多年的相处，之间有着复杂的情愫。。
