Several episodes featured a larger mystery with a cross-over scheme, involving the investigative talents all three characters...。鸿上美术馆内的石棺被意外打开，被封印了800年的“贪欲者”就此复活，贪欲者由核心硬币和细胞硬币构成，为了收集硬币，贪欲者制造出噬欲怪来吸收人类的欲望，从而转化为细胞硬币。贪欲者之一的安库因只复活了一条手臂而不得不依靠人类男子火野映司来帮助他收集硬币，映司从安库那拿到变身器和三枚核心硬币，变身为假面骑士欧兹！。
